Residential (Sloped Roofing)
When it comes to residential sloped roofing in Toronto, Anax installs every system — from economical asphalt shingles to prestige slate, copper and metal.

Asphalt Shingles
The most common sloped-roof system, available in economical 3-tab or the industry-standard laminated (architectural) design. Laminated shingles add layers for a dimensional look that hides imperfections, a thicker base less prone to warping, and a high wind-resistance rating. Installed over a vapour barrier and an ice-and-water shield.
Wood & Shake Shingles
High-end materials with a prestigious look and long life, often fitted with copper metalwork so both age together. Shingles are typically western red cedar treated with preservatives — wood is sawn on all sides, while shakes are split from logs with an un-sawn exposed face.
Slate
The longest-lasting shingle in the industry. Slate is nailed with copper nails, quarried in a range of colours and cut to the desired pattern. No two pieces are exactly alike, and a fading option changes colour over time for a unique look.
Synthetic Slate (faux slate)
Similar in look and installation to authentic slate, but made from a composite of materials that don’t include real slate — a lighter, more economical way to achieve the slate aesthetic.
Metal Roofs
Highly durable against heavy snow and high winds, resistant to cracking, eroding and shrinking, and needing little to no maintenance. Interlocking panels are nailed to the deck and available in many styles and colours, including 100%-recyclable copper for a prestigious, long-lasting finish.
